Close-Up:
- My dream is to be able to devote my life to music, finding a balance between my professional and my personal life and stability.
- I love painting. Hieronymus Bosch has always been my favourite painter, and I particularly like his Garden of Delights. It is very similar to what I like most about music: no matter how many times you look, you always find something new and awesome.
- When I practice my instrument, I sometimes don’t take a break because the routine itself is relaxing. Other times, everything happens pell mell and I need to stop, to refresh physically and mentally.
- What I remember most of my time at the Conservatory are my classmates, my teacher Josep Colomé and other amazing teachers that I had who conveyed their love for music as I perfected my skills. If I have grown, both personally and musically, it is thanks to them and the way they complemented each other. Each one taught me something important.
- What I like best about being in Nostrum Mare Camerata is the quality of the people and of the musical we make together. My fellow-players are wonderful people, and we have a great time together. We share our excitement for music and our dreams. The standard is of the highest thanks to Jacobo’s incredible ear for detail; it always feels good to play. I feel very lucky to be able to learn so much from a group whose main interest and priority is the music itself. This, unfortunately, is not so easy to find although it is extremely important for me.
